Waveski & Surf kayak come and try it

Andy McClelland and Peter Hodge ran an excellent 'Waveski' & 'Kayak' try out day in Portrush on Sat 30th April. Their initiative was supported and funded by 'Sport Relief'. The day saw 24 young people between the ages of 10 and 18 being introduced to waveski surfing. Andy and Pete had brought in Paul 'Harry' Harrington and Johnny 'BingBong' Bingham to run the on water sessions and coach the young people. Corin King, Chloe Hamilton and I were also at hand.
Each participant left with a T-Shirt, a full belly thanks to Ian and his BBQ skills and a BIG SMILE!

Here is some footage from the recent Ocean Addicts waveski & surf kayak coaching camp. Really good group of people on the course so made it a very enjoyable week. The footage is from sessions where students were working on various skills such as getting air, cut backs and re-entries. Plenty of spills so we know they were trying!
